Hi lily back with a blog about culture.
First my dad's side
I'm Irish because my granddad was born in Ireland and his mum was Irish
On my mum's side I am from England. When my mum was 20 she went and lived in England because my great great great grandma was from England.
We have family traditions
At christmas time all of my family goes on holiday to golden bay. it is so sunny and nice up there. Every day we go to the beach the beach is called Tata beach. and can you believe it my teacher and principle are up there? how weird.
In my family on Christmas day my auntie makes a Delicious ham. another thing that my family do is every 2 years we go to Australia it is so much fun.
I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hi Lily,I enjoyed reading about your family heritage. My Mum'sancestors are English and Irish and my Dad came out from Ireland when he was a young man because he wanted to have adventures. Your summer holidays with your family sound lovely. I grew up in Nelson and still love to visit there. One day I would like to live there with the nice weather. Where would you like to live when you are an adult?
