What did you do in summer?
I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Welcome to my first blog of 2020 Im going into year 7. I am so exited about 2020 and all the new learning I am going to be doing . Now we are going to talk about my hopes for 2020 are. My goals are to be able to make the Canterbury cross country and to have a better mindset for math. I am looking forward to the saint Francis of Assisi school fair. In my holidays I went to jellie park pool with Alice and Charlie we went down the hydro slide 100s of times and played in the pool and did a lot of staples!

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post

It's great that you are looking forward to the year Lily. We can work on your maths together at home so that you feel more confident at school. Remember, it is better to have a go at something that you are not sure of and get it wrong or have to ask for help, than it is not to have a go at all. Successful learners ask for help and feedback all the time - this is what makes them successful. Love mum
