PBL

Hello and welcome to another blog, today we are talking about PBL this term. We are finishing our PBL, my group was me and charlie.We are doing  the doggy attractor to get the perfect photo of your dog.What we did was a cut  some old headphones at the  plug in part  then we made a small hole in the tennis ball then we hot glued the headphone jack into the small hole in your ball then you can just plug it into your phone  when you are taking a photo of your dog.


What are you doing for PBL?

Athletics Fun

Every Thursday since week  8 we have been going to the back field and  practicing for athletics in week 2 term 3. Last week the 5/6 girls did discus and long jump. This week we did  shot put and high jump next week we will do long distance and sprints. My favorite activity is long distance. I´m very exited and nervous too. For athletics we  compete in our year groups.

The museum

On the sixteenth of September tumu hub was lucky enough to go to the museum.We were put into groups in my group I had Charlie,Dakota,Elsha,Aidan,Jade and Sophie And our helper was miss dungey. In the morning  we got   to look around  My favorite room we went into was the shell house.My least favorite room was the insect room because I hat spiders.After lunch We went to get taught  about Maori   and listen to a good story.After the story we went into a class room to do some  activity's   my favorite activity  was  The drill.

  A PC in hockey also known as a penalty corner is where it hits the other teams foot in the circle.There are two lines right by the goal that a player takes the ball from and three people from the other team stand in the goal.

First  they sweep it to the person at the top of the circle and the person at the top of the circle dribbles it a bit and then wacks it at the goal.You also get a PC when the other team brings  their stick higher than there shoulder.

When a pc is  most of the other team has to run back down to the other circle and wait there until  your team has hit it in and then three of them stand

 there goal.If you get a goal  from a PC it just counts as one point like a normal goal.I hope you enjoyed my   Explanation writing.
